DESCRIPTION:  Creates a directory containing the following files to support 
the Compaq Standard Series monitors mentioned above.  This is the same diskette
that is distributed with these monitors; it is for Windows 95 and Windows 98.

   MONOPT.INF -  An information file that configures the appropriate driver 
                 for a Compaq Commercial Monitor.

        *.ICM -  ICM stands for Image Color Matching.
                 These are data files that are used in conjunction with
                 some graphics programs to provide consistent color matching
                 from monitor screen to printer, or from scanner to the
                 monitor screen.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Separate SoftPaq for Standard Series monitors; previously the Standard 
   monitors were included on the Value Series SoftPaq.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files unpacks the files into 
the download directory "C:\COMPAQ\STANDARD".

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the  
self-extracting SoftPaq file downloaded in step 1.

4. Refer to README.TXT for instructions on installing and using 
the software.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files 
unpacked in step 2 if you wish.
