DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq creates version 2.05.96 of the Compaq Remote 
Monitor Service for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.  This version of the
service allows the recognition of devices on adapter boards that 
incorporates the I960 bridge.  Once the device is found and it is 
determined that the supporting adapter driver is hot plug capable, hot
plug operations will then be permitted.


HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded (SP9946.EXE) is a 
self-extracting executable file.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file and follow 
the on-screen instructions to unpack the files:

SP9946 [ENTER]

The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for the 
files, or default to the download directory.  The following files will 
be created:

CPQRCMC.EXE
CQRSCSMN.DLL
SETUP.CMD
README.TXT

3.  After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.
