DESCRIPTION:  Upgrades the DVD Drive firmware on the affected Presario 5600
models mentioned above.  This upgrade reduces noise on the GD-2500 DVD Drive
used on the affected models.  

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.  It will automatically install 
the fix on your PC.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Click on "Yes" to confirm that you want to install the fix.

3. Read the Licensing Agreement and click on "I Agree". 

4. Read the MS-DOS warning and click on "Yes", and installation will 
begin.  

5. After the files have been installed, you may delete the self-extracting 
file downloaded in step 1.
