DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files required to install Version 4.23 of the Compaq 
Systems Management Toolkit.  This is the full package; a previous installation 
is not required.  

The Compaq Systems Management Toolkit provides files for integrating 
Compaq Insight Manager information into the following management applications:
 - HP OpenView/UX
 - Tivoli NetView
 - SunNet Manager
 - Microsoft Systems Management Server
 - Novell ManageWise

Enhancements/Fixes:
In this version:
 - Updated the Compaq integration for Microsoft Systems Management Server. 
   This includes:
	- Removed support from Collect for UPS's from version 4.23 and later
	  versions of the Compaq Insight Server Agents for NT.
	- Fixed the Compaq Inventory Collector to correctly report Compaq 
	  Cluster information for versions 4.21 and later of the Server Agents.
	- Modified Compaq Inventory Collector to work with all version of the 
	  Server Agents.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting 
file downloaded in step 1.

4. Copy the resulting files to the existing Systems Management Toolkit 
directory, usually \CPQIS1\CPQIS\TOOLKIT on an Integration Server, overwriting 
the earlier versions of the files.  

Or, if the Systems Management Toolkit was not previously installed, create 
a \TOOLKIT directory and copy the files into it.

5. After the files have been copied, you may delete the files from the download 
directory if you wish.
