DESCRIPTION:  These are the same Windows 98 audio drivers that are 
pre-installed on the Compaq Deskpro EN and EP Series models mentioned 
above, which have the integrated Compaq Premier Sound audio controller 
featuring ADI SoundMax.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file
   downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the
   SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting
   file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install the drivers, go to the directory where the files were unpacked
   in step 3. Execute SETUP from that directory and follow the instructions
   that are presented on the screen.

   In order to run the SETUP in silent mode, the -s parameter needs to be
   added (SETUP -S).  Please note when using the SETUP in silent mode there
   is no user interaction required and no messages are displayed on the
   screen.

   Note: To create installation diskette(s) run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow the
         on-screen instructions.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the directory created
   in step 2 if you wish.
