DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates two files -- a description file and a
self-extracting executable file.  The self-extracting executable file 
contains Compaq Workstation Support Software for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
that supports the following subsystems and features of Compaq
Professional Workstations:
 
   Compaq PowerStorm 300 Graphics Controller
   Compaq PowerStorm 600 Graphics Controller
   Compaq Workstation Support Software Installation utility

Enhancements/Fixes:

Compaq PowerStorm 600 Graphics Controller (GLZMPD.SYS) 

?	Added support for the new Compaq PowerStorm 600 Graphics 
	Controller Driver Version 04.06.01.44.

Important:  You must install Microsoft Windows NT Service Pack 4 before 
you install the Compaq PowerStorm 600 Graphics Controller Driver.

Compaq PowerStorm 300 Graphics Controller (PBXGDAC.SYS)

?	Updated the Compaq PowerStorm 300 Graphics Controller Driver from 
	Version 2, 2, 1107, 1219 to 2, 2, 0211, 1434. 

Important:  You must install Microsoft Windows NT Service Pack 3 (or higher) 
before you install the Compaq PowerStorm 300 Graphics Controller Driver.

For details, refer to NTREADME.HLP in the created support files.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be created:
       README.TXT
       PSTM.EXE

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the 
self-extracting executable:
       PSTM.EXE [ENTER]

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the support 
software files to a folder on your hard drive and run the program 
SETUP.EXE to install the software.
