DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates two files -- a description file and a
self-extracting executable file.  The self-extracting executable file 
contains Compaq Workstation Support Software for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
that supports the following subsystems and features of Compaq
Professional Workstations:
 
   Matrox Millennium II PCI Graphics Controller
   Matrox Millennium G200 PCI and AGP Graphics Controllers
   Matrox Productiva G100 Multi-Monitor Series (MMS) Graphics Controller
   Compaq Workstation Support Software Installation utility

Enhancements/Fixes:

The release of the Compaq Workstation Support Software for Microsoft 
Windows NT 4.0, Version 2.03 Revision A, primarily supports the following 
new products:

-	Matrox Productiva G100 Multi-Monitor Series Graphics Controller
-	Matrox Millennium G200 PCI Graphics Controller

Matrox Productiva G100 MMS Graphics Controller (MGA64.SYS)

-	Added support for the new Matrox Productiva G100 Multi-Monitor 
Series Graphics Controller Driver Version 4.00 (build 4.0.9). 

Important:  You must install Microsoft Windows NT Service Pack 3 (or higher) 
before you install the Matrox Productiva G100 Multi-Monitor Series Graphics 
Controller Driver.

Matrox Millennium II PCI/Millennium G200 PCI/Millennium G200 AGP Graphics Controllers (MGA64.SYS)

-	Updated the Matrox Millennium II PCI/Millennium G200 PCI/Millennium 
G200 AGP Driver to Version 4.00 (build 4.0.152).
-	Added support for the Matrox Millennium G200 PCI Graphics Controller.
-	Allows mixing of the Matrox Millennium II PCI, Millennium G200 AGP, 
and Millennium G200 PCI graphics controllers in a single system for 
multi-monitor support.

Important:  The Matrox Millennium II PCI/Millennium G200 PCI/Millennium G200 AGP 
Driver does not support the Matrox MGA Millennium Graphics Controller. To install 
the latest driver for the Matrox MGA Millennium Graphics Controller, use Compaq 
Workstation Support Software for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Version 2.00A. You can 
obtain Compaq Workstation Support Software for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Version 
2.00A from the Compaq website (www.compaq.com).

For details, refer to NTREADME.HLP in the created support files.
 
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be created:
       README.TXT
       MATX.EXE

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the 
self-extracting executable:
       MATX.EXE [ENTER]

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the support 
software files to a folder on your hard drive and run the program 
SETUP.EXE to install the software.
