DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to install the Windows NT 4.0 drivers for 
Alpha Workstation PowerStorm 4D40T/4D50T/51T/4D60T Graphics Controllers, which 
are used in the Professional Workstations mentioned above (see PRODUCTS AFFECTED).

This is the PowerStorm 4D40T/4D50T/51T/4D60T driver kit.  It contains drivers
for Windows NT 4.0 running on Alpha platforms. This kit requires Service Pack 3
(SP3) or later to guarantee proper operation.

This kit can be used to install or upgrade the 2D and 3D display
drivers to support these graphics controllers.

The drivers in this kit provide support for the PowerStorm  4D40T, 4D50T,
4d51T and 4D60T Graphics Controllers.  Please refer to the release notes in the file
relnotes.doc included in the unpacked files for details of the capabilities of this 
hardware and software.

HOW TO USE

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that 
directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based 
on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the 
on-screen instructions to unpack the files into a directory. 

3. To Install the driver, please refer to the README.TXT file included with the 
unpacked files.  

4. After a successful installation, you may delete the unpacked files from
step 2 if you wish.
