DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to install the Alpha Workstation 
ELSA GLoria Synergy Driver for Windows NT 4.0, which is used in the Professional 
Workstations mentioned above (see PRODUCTS AFFECTED).

The following functionality is supported:
 - Full support for OpenGL (3D Graphics) acceleration
 - Full support for GDI (2D Graphics).
 - Hardware support for major DirectDraw functionality  (e.g. YUV
   colorspace conversion, ColorKey, Stretch Blt).
 - Full support for 2D multihead (see section 6)

Supported Configurations:
 - Compaq Professional Workstation XP1000 - 
    Up to three 8-MB ELSA GLoria Synergy Graphics Controllers
 - Digital Personal Workstation 433a, 500a, and 600a enhanced -
   Up to Three 8MB ELSA GLoria Synergy's

HOW TO USE

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that 
directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based 
on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the 
on-screen instructions to unpack the files into a directory. 

3. To Install the driver, please refer to the README.TXT file included with the 
unpacked files.  

4. After a successful installation, you may delete the unpacked files from
step 2 if you wish.
