DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq directly installs the Compaq Monitor Information File, 
which controls the Plug and Play configuration of Compaq monitors.  This allows 
customers that buy a Compaq monitor to use it with a non-Compaq computer.  
After this software is installed, Windows 95 Plug and Play recognizes the monitor.  
Resolution information and other configuration information can then be set from 
the Display icon in the Control Panel.  Without this software, non-Compaq 
computers configure a Compaq monitor as an "Unknown monitor."

Enhancements/Fixes:
 
 - Changes "FP500" to "FP Series"

 - Adds support for more Compaq monitor models, including Presario V720 Color 
     Monitor and Presario MV900 Color Monitor

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq file SP9401.EXE to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute SP9401.EXE and follow the on-screen instructions to install and 
configure the driver. 

3. You must restart the PC before the changes take affect.
