DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq is for Japanese products, and cannot be run 
in United States mode.  This SoftPaq creates two files -- a description 
file and a large self-extracting executable file.  The self-extracting 
executable file contains Compaq Workstation Support Software for 
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 that supports the following subsystems and 
features of Compaq Professional Workstations:

Features in Compaq Workstation SSD for Windows NT 4.0 Version 2.02 Rev. A

The release of the Compaq Workstation Support Software for Microsoft 
Windows NT 4.0, Version 2.02 Revision A, is a maintenance release that 
updates the drivers listed below. 

Important: This is the first release of the Compaq Workstation SSD for 
Windows NT 4.0 that is not available as diskette images. If you obtain the 
Compaq Workstation SSD for Windows NT 4.0 in SoftPaq format, the SoftPaq 
extracts its files to a directory on the hard drive. You cannot obtain the 
Workstation SSD for Windows NT 4.0 version 2.02A (or later) as a SoftPaq 
that contains diskette images.

Compaq ProLiant Storage System Driver (PRLNTSS.SYS) 

? Updated the Compaq ProLiant Storage System Driver from Version 2.03 to 2.04.
? Added support to the Compaq ProLiant Storage System Driver for the Compaq 
  ProLiant Storage System. The updated Compaq ProLiant Storage System Driver 
  provides support for 15 drives and checks alarms for fan, temperature, and 
  Hot Plug events.

Compaq PowerStorm 300 Graphics Controller (PBXGDAC.SYS)

? Updated the Compaq PowerStorm 300 Graphics Controller Driver from Version 2, 
  2, 0923, 1002 to 2, 2, 1107, 1219. 

ELSA GLoria-Synergy/Synergy+ 3D Graphics Controller (EGLPM.SYS)

? Updated the ELSA GLoria-Synergy/Synergy+ 3D Graphics Controller Driver from

Compaq Remote ROM Flash and Security Settings Service (CPQRS.SYS)

? Updated the Compaq Remote ROM Flash and Security Settings Service Driver from 
  Version 1.00 to 1.01.
? Updated the driver to detect improperly write-protected sectors for the Compaq 
  Professional Workstation AP400 ROM. This updated driver corrects a problem where 
  flash attempts were causing the ROM to be corrupted.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be created:
       README.TXT
       NTWSD.EXE

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the 
self-extracting executable:
       NTWSD.EXE [ENTER]

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the support 
software files to a folder on your hard drive and run the program 
SETUP.EXE to install the software.
