DESCRIPTION: Unpacks the files needed to install the Microsoft Windows 95/98
video driver for the Matrox G100 and Millennium G200 Video Controllers used
in the above-mentioned Deskpro computers.
Optionally creates three installation diskettes.
HOW TO USE:
HOW TO USE:
1. Download the Softpaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is
a self-extracting executable with the file name based on the Softpaq Number above.
2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq. When executed with no
parameters, files are extracted into new folders that are created in the current
directory. To create the folders in a different directory, specify the complete
path of the directory as a parameter when executing the SoftPaq:
SPXXXX <path>
Enter "Y" to confirm and folders are created in the download directory or the
directory specified.
3. After the folders disk_01, disk_02 and have been created, you may delete the
self-exctracting file downloaded in step 1.
4. The driver may be installed directly from the folders in the download
directory, or two driver installation diskettes can be created.
To create installation diskettes, run MAKEDISK.BAT.
To read detailed installation and usage instructions, refer to README.TXT.
5. To install the driver, run SETUP.EXE from the first installation diskette or
from directory disk_01 if installing from the hard drive.
For example, select Start, Run, then enter:
<path>\disk_01\setup
where <path> is the drive and directory chosen in step 2
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
