DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq unpacks the files needed to install the
              Compaq Microcom 705 Corporate Communicator Version 2.0.
              The SoftPaq first creates an image of the CD-ROM on the
              hard disk.

Enhancements/Fixes: 
 - Support for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
 - Support for the new international V.90 standard for 56k modem data
   transmissions.
 - Support for Northern Telecom Norstar Switches.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable
   with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

   IMPORTANT: Depending on your Internet connection, the download of
              this large file (20 MB) may take several minutes!

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and
   follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to confirm
   (or change) the name and location of the directory into which the
   files contained in the SoftPaq will be expanded.

3. After expansion, you may delete the SoftPaq file downloaded in 
   step 1 above.

4. Change to the directory into which you expanded the SoftPaq files
   and use a text editor to read and print the file README.TXT, which
   contains information on how to create a copy of the CD-ROM on your
   hard disk.

5. Run the program SETUP.EXE in the folder to which you expanded the
   SoftPaq files and follow the on-screen instructions to copy the 
   CD-ROM image of the Compaq Microcom 705 Corporate Communicator
   Version 2.0 to your hard disk.

6. After creating the CD-ROM image and installating the Compaq
   Microcom 705 Corporate Communicator Version 2.0, you may free hard
   disk space by following the instructions in section 5 of the 
   README.TXT file.
