DESCRIPTION:  Creates a bootable diskette to upgrade the Battery Controller/
Keyboard Controller(KBC) ROM on selected Presario 1200, 1600, and 1800 Series 
notebooks that require the update.

Presario Models 1207, 1210, 1610, 1611, 1615, 1620, 1622, 1680, 1682, 1681   
    - Updates Battery Controller/KBC to Version 0.69
    - Includes fix for touchpad erratic movement that sometimes occurs.
    - Added support for MS Intellimouse.
    - Added support for new Touchpad drivers that can disable internal 
         touchpad when an external PS2 mouse is present.

    - Improves the defaults for display panel contrast and frequency.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
    to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with
    a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
    and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to
    insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette has been created, you may delete the
    SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5.  Turn off the notebook to be updated and insert the created diskette.

7.  Turn the notebook on, allowing it to boot from the diskette.

8.  Follow the on-screen instructions to update the Keyboard Controller ROM.

    IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
