DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates two files -- a description file 
and a self-extracting executable file.  The self-extracting 
executable file contains Compaq Server Support for Microsoft Windows 
NT 4.0 that supports the following subsystems and features of 
Compaq Servers:
 
   Compaq Remote Insight Board Driver
   Compaq Remote Insight Board WAN Driver
   Compaq Server Support Installation Utility

Enhancements/Fixes:

The release of the Compaq Server Support for Microsoft Windows 
NT 4.0 Version 2.12 Revision C primarily supports the following 
new products:

	Compaq NC3131 Fast Ethernet NIC
	Compaq NC3132 Fast Ethernet Module
	Compaq NC3133 Fast Ethernet Module
	Compaq NC6132 Gigabit Module
	Compaq NC6133 Gigabit Module
	Compaq Smart Array Redundancy Software

Compaq Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, or Gigabit Controller Driver
(N100NT.SYS, N1000NT4.SYS) 

	Updated the Compaq Ethernet or Fast Ethernet Controller Driver, 
	N100NT.SYS, from Version 3.27.00.001 to Version 4.29.01.0009, 
	which provides support for the following controllers:
	
		Compaq NC3131 Fast Ethernet NIC
		Compaq NC3132 Fast Ethernet Module
		Compaq NC3133 Fast Ethernet Module

	Added Version 1.05.00.1012 of the Compaq Gigabit Controller 
	Driver, N1000NT4.SYS, to support the following controllers:

		Compaq NC6132 Gigabit Module
		Compaq NC6133 Gigabit Module

Compaq Server Support Setup for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0(SETUP.EXE)
	Added new command-line support for the Compaq Smart Array 
 	Redundancy Software.
	This new support allows you install, update, and remove 
	the Compaq Smart Array Redundancy Software through the
	command line.  Refer to the Command-Line Installations section 
	for information about the command syntax.

	Added new command-line support for return codes.  This new support 
 	allows you to determine if a command-line update or installation 
 	succeeded or failed.  Refer to the Command-Line Return Codes section 
	for more information about this functionality.

Compaq Smart Array Redundancy Software(CPQSVMGR.EXE) 
	Added new Compaq Smart Array Redundancy Software to support the 
	redundant controller feature for the following products: 
		Compaq ProLiant 7000 400-1024K Model 1S-256
		Compaq ProLiant 6000 400-1024K Model 2S-256 
		Compaq ProLiant 6000 400-512K Model 1-128 
		Compaq ProLiant Storage System /UE.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be created:
       README.TXT
       RIB.EXE

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the 
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the 
self-extracting executable:
       RIB.EXE [ENTER]

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the 
support software files to a folder on your hard drive and run the 
program SETUP.EXE to install the software.
