DESCRIPTION:  Creates a copy of the Version 2.20 driver diskette for 
the Compaq 56K External Fax Modem with Voice.  The diskette contains
the modem driver files needed to install this modem.

This version of the modem driver should be installed when updating the
firmware of the K56Flex version of the Compaq 56K External Fax Modem
with Voice to the V.90 standard (the firmware update is available as a
separate SoftPaq from Compaq's website).
It also provided here as a convenience for customers who may need to
restore this modem software for any reason. 

Enhancements/Fixes: 
 - Supports V.90 protocol

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable
   with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
   and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
   insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
   SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. Install the modem in the computer according to the instructions
   in the QuickInstall Guide that came with the modem.  When prompted 
   for the modem driver file, enter the path to the driver diskette 
   created above. Alternately, you may also follow the instructions in
   the README.TXT file contained on the diskette to update your modem 
   driver files.
