DESCRIPTION: This SoftPaq creates two files -- a description file and a
self-extracting executable file. The self-extracting executable file
contains Compaq Workstation Support Software for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
that supports the following subsystems and features of
Compaq Professional Workstations:

The release of the Compaq Workstation Support Software for Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0, Version 2.02 Revision A, is a maintenance release that
updates the driver listed below.
Important: This is the first release of the Compaq Workstation SSD for
Windows NT 4.0 that is not available as diskette images. If you obtain the
Compaq Workstation SSD for Windows NT 4.0 in SoftPaq format, the SoftPaq
extracts its files to a directory on the hard drive. You cannot obtain the
Workstation SSD for Windows NT 4.0 version 2.02A (or later) as a SoftPaq
that contains diskette images.
Diamond Multimedia Fire GL 4000 Graphics Controller (FGL4K.SYS)
? Updated the Diamond Multimedia Fire GL 4000 Graphics Controller Driver from
Version 4.00.1381.2137 to 4.00.1381.2221. This updated driver corrects the
following in these applications:
Pro/Designer application
? Fixed blue screen problem in systems with a single board and a single screen.
Pro/Designer 19 application
? Alpha planes have been disabled.
Marquee 2.0 Beta application
? Added blending for bitmaps.
? Texture is reloaded if the border or repeat status is changed.
Catia application
? fire9 fixed.
? Inf file changes for profile ?catia?.
Catia 5 application
? Fixed corruption of 2-D frame buffer content on multiple OpenGL client windows.
Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
? Inf file changes for Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional.

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be created:
README.TXT
DMND.EXE
3. After the files have been created, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.
4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the
self-extracting executable:
DMND.EXE [ENTER]
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the support
software files to a folder on your hard drive and run the program
SETUP.EXE to install the software.
