DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to install the Compaq Survey 
Utility, an online agent that captures critical hardware and operating 
system configuration information on Compaq servers without interrupting 
server operation.  It automates a configuration history log, allowing 
administrators to identify and compare configuration changes.

Enhancements/Fixes:

- Added support for the Compaq ProLiant 6500 Pentium II Xeon, Compaq 
  ProLiant 5500 Pentium II Xeon, Compaq ProLiant 3000 Pentium II, and 
  the Compaq ProLiant 800 Pentium II.
- Fixed problem with loss of mouse control during EV captures.
- Modified Surveyor service so that it can be start and stop from NT's 
  control panel.
- Modified Survey so that IDI files from the Compaq Remote Insight board 
  can be viewed from the 'idifiles' directory. 
- Fixed problem with nodes from NT Enterprise clusters disappearing after
  loading 
  Survey.
- Fixed problem with Hotfixes not showing up in Survey report.
- Fixed long-term memory leak issue under Windows NT 4.0. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files should be created:
        RELEASE.TXT
        SP8723.TXT        
        S208NTJ.EXE

3. Run S208NTJ.EXE.  This will extract the installation files for Survey 
Utility for NT to a temporary directory.

4. To install, refer to README.TXT for additional information. 

5. After the installation is complete, you may delete the files/directories 
created during steps 1 through 3.
