DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files required to install the firmware for 
domestic installations of the Compaq Microcom 808, an ISDN remote access 
device with built-in Ethernet hub.  

The files are:

HAR11Q03.BIN - Firmware binary file
README.TXT   - Installation instructions
SP8703.TXT   - Doc file for this SoftPaq

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Fixes TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol) Server timeouts.
 - Prevents incompatible firmware from being downloaded to hardware.
 - Fixes problem where B2 channel information was not saved during upload.
 - DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) reassigns assigned 
   IP addresses. 
 - Fixes POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) phone line failure with 
   "no dial tone". 
 - Interoperablity with Ascend-4000 router.
 
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. Refer to README.TXT for detailed instructions on installing and 
using the software.
