DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq creates the Compaq Server Support (SSD) for the Microsoft
Windows NT 3.51 diskettes.  There are a total of three diskettes with this
release. The SSD supports the following subsystems and features of Compaq Servers:

Enhancements/Fixes:

The release of the Compaq Server Support for Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 Version 1.34
Revision B primarily supports the following new products:

- Compaq ProLiant 6400R 500/100 512k 256MB 

- Compaq ProLiant 6400R 500/100 1MB 256MB 

- Compaq ProLiant 6400R 500/100 2MB 1GB 

Compaq System Management Driver-(SYSMGMT.SYS) 

- Updated the Compaq System Management Driver from version 3.15.01 to
  3.18.02.

- Added support to the Compaq System Management Driver for the following new servers:

	- Compaq ProLiant 6400R 500/100 512k 256MB 

	- Compaq ProLiant 6400R 500/100 1MB 256MB 

	- Compaq ProLiant 6400R 500/100 2MB 1GB

- Corrected a problem with certain models of the 750/500 Watt Hot Plug Redundant Power
  Supply in which the supply would report the use of twice as much power than the actual
  amount used.  This false report would cause the power subsystem to be marked as
  non-redundant even though redundant power was available.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain three formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
    to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP8674.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded SoftPaq file:
      SP8674 [ENTER]
    and follow the on-screen instructions. The following files will be
    created:
       QRST5.EXE
       105597US._01
       105597US._02
       105597US._03
       105597US.DOC

4.  Please read 105597US.DOC for instructions on using QRST5 to create
    the diskettes and for the steps to install the software.

5.  After the disks are created, you may delete the downloaded file
    SP8674.EXE and the other files it created from your hard drive 
    if you wish.
