DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to upgrade and configure a 
Compaq Presario 56K-DF Modem or a Compaq 56K (V.90) Data/Fax Modem 
in a Deskpro EP/SB running Windows 95 or Windows 98.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Upgrades K56Flex driver software to 56K (V.90) driver software,
   Version 1.6.15.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, run SETUP.EXE.  For example, select Start, Run, then enter: 
   
           <path>\SETUP  

           where <path> is the drive and directory from step 2

   Follow on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

5. After a successful installtion, you may delete the files unpacked in step 2.
