   CPQONLIN.NLM requires two support modules to be loaded on NetWare 5
   in order to warn the user that logical drive contains a volume
   before allowing the user to delete it:

   NWIDK.NLM - allows access to the NetWare Classic file system.
   CPQONLIN will attempt to load this module automatically when the
   Array Configuration Utility is selected.

   NSS.NLM - allows access to the NSS volumes. CPQONLIN will give
   the user the option of loading NSS.NLM when the Array Configuration
   Utility is selected. If the user chooses not to load NSS.NLM,
   CPQONLIN will not be able to warn the user if there is an NSS
   volume on a logical drive before allowing the user to delete it.

   ProLiant 7000 Pentium II Xeon models.

 MISCELLANEOUS UPDATES

  ADDITION OF 6TH DISK TO NSSD

   NSSD has changed diskette structure to incorporate a sixth diskette
   in order to accommodate current and future needs for Compaq's Networking
   drivers. Currently included on NSSD are the Compaq Gigabit Ethernet
   (N1000.LAN) drivers. In order to provide continuity between the two
   Networking diskettes, the Networking I and Networking II/Client Support
   deliverables have been moved to diskettes 5 and 6 accordingly.

    The diskette structure as of NSSD 5.01 is:
    Disk 1 Installation, DOS CD and SFT III Support
    Disk 2          Documentation
    Disk 3          Storage Support
    Disk 4 Advanced Server Management and PCI Hot Plug Support
    Disk 5 Networking Support I (current server networking products)
    Disk 6 Networking Support II (non-shipping products) and
                    Network Client Support

  NSSD DIRECTORY RESTRUCTURING

   In an effort to continue providing support for NetWare 3.x, 4.x, and 5.x
   platforms, it was realized that there was a need to redistribute files
   in the Novell Support Software directories. The following restructuring
   scheme has been implemented:

   * Where support for all three operating systems is available with one
     version of the driver, that driver is placed in its original location
     as a "common file".

   * Where special support is required for a particular version of NetWare,
     those drivers are placed in the appropriate directory according to the
     supported version of the operating system.

   * For NetWare 3.x support, files are placed in a subdirectory of their
     original location, named 3x.

   * For NetWare 4.x support, files are placed in a subdirectory of their
     original location, named 4x.

   * For NetWare 5.x support, files are placed in a subdirectory of their
     original location, named 5x.

   * Where files are necessary for NetWare 3.x and 4.x support only, they
     are placed in a subdirectory named 3x_4x.

   Additionally, all DDFS driver support files (.DSK disk drivers) have
   been moved into a directory named DSK. This allows for differentiation
   between legacy support for DDFS drivers and support for newer NWPA
   drivers.

   Lastly, the DOS network support has moved from the DOS directory to the
   \NETWORK\CLIENT directory to better reflect the nature of these drivers
   and avoid confusion with the DOS CD-ROM drivers, currently located in
   the DOS directory, when delivered in CD-based or network-install format.

 DOCUMENTATION ENHANCEMENTS

   The NSSD documentation is undergoing a series of enhancements to better
   provide customers with a more robust and resourceful informational
   product. In this release of NSSD, Driver Reference Forms have been
   added and will contain the following:

    * Release Information
    * What's New
    * Supported Hardware/Software
    * Driver Description
    * Installation Instructions
    * Troubleshooting Information
    * Historical Information

   In addition to adding the Driver Reference Forms, we've have eliminated
   the following files:

    * HISTORY.RDM
    * SFT3.RDM

   As documentation enhancements occur, updates will be provided in
   WHATSNEW.RDM.

   Your comments and suggestions are welcomed at [email protected].

  REMOVAL OF HISTORY.RDM

   In an effort to streamline the information delivered in the NSSD
   documentation, content contained in the HISTORY.RDM has been
   incorporated into the new Driver Reference Forms. Removing
   HISTORY.RDM prevents duplication of material and will reduce
   the size of the readme files and the NSSD.HLP file.

   A complete list of historical information is published in the
   White Paper titled 'Historical Updates to Novell Drivers from
   Compaq' available on Compaq's web site, http://www.compaq.com.

   As of NSSD 5.01, please consult these documents to obtain
   historical information for Compaq drivers.

  REMOVAL OF SFT3.RDM

   In an effort to streamline the information delivered in the NSSD
   documentation, content contained in the SFT3.RDM has been
   incorporated into the new Driver Reference Forms. Removing
   SFT3.RDM prevents duplication of material and will reduce the
   size of the readme files and the NSSD.HLP file.

   As of NSSD 5.01, please consult the Driver Reference Forms for
   information on the CPQMP.NLM driver.

   Refer to the Driver Summary Chart for specific content layout of
   the NSSD diskettes.
