DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files needed to create two installation 
diskettes for the Japanese language Compaq DOS Diagnostics for Windows 
Utility for Armada 6500 notebooks. 

PC Diagnostics is preinstalled on the Diagnostics Partition of all 
supported systems with the exception of the Armada 6500 family.  
PC Diagnostics is only supported via diskette on Armada 6500.  The 
diskette created by this SoftPaq can be used to update this utility 
on the Diagnostics Partition or to restore it if the Diagnostics 
Partition has been destroyed.  PC Diagnostics can be run by pressing 
F10 when the cursor moves to the upper right corner of the screen 
during power-up or reboot.  Or it can be run directly from this 
diskette, which is required for use on the Armada 6500. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting 
file downloaded in step 1.

4. To create the diagnostics diskettes, run the dos_diag.jpn\MAKEDIAG.BAT file.
Follow the instructions on the screen.  You will need 2 blank formatted diskettes.

5. After the diagnostics have been installed from the diskettes, you may delete 
the files from the download directory if you wish.
