DESCRIPTION: Unpacks the "Installing Microsoft Windows 98 on Compaq 
Armada Portable Products" document.  Optionally creates the file 
on diskette. 

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader? to view this file.  If you do not
have the Adobe Acrobat Reader? browser plug-in or application already 
installed on your computer, you may download a free copy from the
Adobe Web site (http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html). 

Enhancements/Fixes:

- Added installation instructions for Armada 1700 and Armada 1500 models
  listed above in PRODUCTS AFFECTED.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory 
folder in the download directory.  All files are unpacked into this 
newly created directory.

To optionally create a diskette containing the document, run MAKEDISK.BAT 
and follow on-screen instructions.

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.
