DESCRIPTION: Unpacks the files needed to install Compaq Insight Management
Agents for the above-mentioned operating systems and Compaq computers that 
support Intelligent Manageability.

Insight Management Agents provide local alerting, DMI and SNMP agents.  Local 
alerting notifies the user if the system temperature has been exceeded under 
normal operating conditions or an imminent drive failure has been detected. 
SNMP agents allow the system to be managed by SNMP-compliant management 
applications such as Compaq Insight Manager.  Desktop Management Interface 
(DMI) support allows the computer to be managed by DMI-compliant management
applications.

Fixes/Enhancements:
 - Adds corporate deployment features to enhance silent mode installation 
      and configuration
 - Adds Pentium II Pre-Failure and Warranty information
 - Adds Desktop Managment Interface (DMI) Indication (event) support
 - Adds DMI Operational State table support (provides status information
      through DMI)
 - Adds DMI Field Replaceable Units (FRU) group support (provides asset 
      information through DMI)
 - Adds support for Windows 98.
 - Removes support for Windows NT 3.51.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory 
folder in the download directory.  All files are unpacked into this 
newly created directory.

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, execute the file SETUP.EXE created in the new 
directory and follow the on-screen instructions.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the directory 
created in step 2 if you wish.
