DESCRIPTION: Creates a diskette used to upgrade the firmware to
version 1.12 for a Compaq Netelligent 56K ISA Fax Modem or Compaq
Netelligent 56K Internal Fax Modem with firmware version 0.519 or 1.0.
This is the same version that was included in SoftPaq SP5014, with the
exception of added installation instructions for Windows 98.
Enhancements/Fixes:

This version addresses the following problems that existed in version 1.0:
- V.8bis tone detection in presence of calling tone for countries with
calling tone on by default
- CIS table not available after flash recovery mode
- NVM recall, missing INX
- TIES sequence and DMON timer used the same system flag
- Incorrect CIS info LP model
- ATI2 reports ERROR if ConfigurACE is used and it is flash downloaded
- DCD on before CONNECT message DP model
- CID does not work when waking up
- Last field in +MS command not stored in NVM
- V.8bis tone could not be detected during calling tone
- AT&V1 speed incorrect for 7200-14400
- Modem goes offhook when waking up on a command that results in ERROR
- AT#VTS locks up modem in FDSP
- Lockup after V8 CI
- AT+A8E? returns incorrect settings
- V.21 and V.23 modes do not display a connect message
- W-Class code works with US devices
- Offhook after AT-SMS=1
- Incorrect #SPK default parameters
- V.8bis CRe at incorrect level
- Playback to speaker (#VLS=1) is noisy
- A-law vs. U-law aggressiveness unequal

HOW TO USE:
1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.
2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable with
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.
3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.
4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.
5. Refer to the README.TXT file on the diskette for upgrade instructions.
