DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files needed to install diagnostics software 
for Windows 95 that can display and configure the hardware and software 
for the Deskpro models mentioned above.  

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the Softpaq number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files in the DFWTEMP directory.
All files are unpacked into the current directory.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install Interactively:
	  a) Delete all previous versions of Diagnostics for Windows 1.xx.  Since
		the DFW 1.xx is a 16-bit application that does not have an uninstall,
		simply delete the C:\WINDOWS\CPQDIAG directory.
   
	  b) Remove all previous versions of Diagnostics for Windows 2.xx.
		- Select Start, Settings, Control Panel
		- Select Add/Remove Programs
		- Select Compaq Diagnostics for Windows and "Add/Remove"
   
	  c) Install this version of Diagnostics for Windows
                - Execute SETUP.EXE and follow on-screen instructions.

	  d) Restart the computer for the changes to be in effect

5. After installation is complete, you may delete the files in the  
directory created in step 2 if you wish.
