DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the files required to install the firmware for the 
Compaq Microcom 808, an ISDN remote access device with built-in Ethernet 
hub.  

Enhancements/Fixes: 
 - Fixes problem where user receives only one busy tone and the line is 
   disconnected when calling out to a busy number on an ISDN line using an analog 
   phone connected to one of the POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) ports . 
 - Improves support for European NET4 telephone line terminal equipment, 
   allowing some phones to ring that were not previously ringing.  
 - Other minor fixes.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

4. Follow the installation procedure described in the User Guide for the Compaq 
Microcom 808 Integrated Access Device.

5. After a successful installation, you may delete the files from the download 
directory if you wish.
