DESCRIPTION: This release provides updated
system ROM images for the latest maintenance
releases of Compaq ProSignia 200 (P01) and
Compaq ProSignia 200 (P05) server products.



     ROMPAQ UTILITY ROMPAQ.EXE Version 4.0
     ========================================

                Ability to Change to the A: drive or re-detect devices
                on the A: drive after flashing systems ROM.

                Fixed programming problem when ROMPAQ was run from a write
                protected diskette.

                Changed functionality of ROMPAQ so that when launched from
                System Configuration, it will return back instead of halting
                and requiring a power cycle.  This includes Local and Remote
                sessions of ROMPAQ.

                Fixed problems with memory leaks that could show if more than
                one ROM is flashed during a ROMPAQ session.

        Provided Support for booting CD ROMs using El Torito hard
        drive boot emulation.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP7336.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP7336 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP7336.EXE if you wish.

5.  Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on installing and using the
software.
