DESCRIPTION:  Creates a bootable ROM upgrade diskette that can
be used to upgrade the System ROM in ONLY the Presario models
specifically mentioned in the PRODUCTS AFFECTED section above.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Improves modem detection after waking up from Sleep mode or reboot.
 - Prevents Sleep button from being acknowledged during power-up.
 - Corrects loss of F10 Setup customizations when unit is powered off 
   while in Sleep mode.

Other fixes from previous ROM Version 6.0.G in SoftPaq SP6264 that are 
also in this version:
 - Corrects lockup problems, including problems related to the ZIP drive.
 - Corrects noises coming from speakers or headphones when accessing a 
   hard drive or using a mouse.

HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
    to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable
    with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
    and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to
    insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4.  After the diskette has been created, you may delete the
    SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5.  From Windows 95, shut down the computer.

6.  Turn off the computer.  Insert the created ROM upgrade diskette in
    drive A: and turn on the computer, allowing the system to boot from
    the diskette.  The ROM upgrade procedure starts automatically.

    IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!
