Enhancement/Fixes:
Fixes various problems caused when upgrading to Windows 98, which
overwrites the Compaq ESS Audio driver, including the following:
   - The Advanced Audio Control cannot be seen.
   - When adjusting the volume using the volume knob on a Compaq monitor:
     - The blue or green volume indicator lines are not seen on the screen.
     - The introduction video for Monster Truck Madness freezes and/or the
       audio stutters.
   - When a user tries to set up their sound board for some games played in
a DOS session, the board is not detected and the game will not play.
Examples include the games Warcraft II and SimCity 2000.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.

the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, run SETUP.EXE from the download directory.

5. After a successful installation is completed, you may delete the files
created in step 2 if you wish.
