DESCRIPTION:  Creates three diskettes containing the driver and support 
software for the Compaq IJ700 Color Inkjet Printer.

This is the same driver version that was originally included with the printer.
It is not an upgrade.  It is offered here as a convenience to customers who may
have lost their original printer driver CD.

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain three (3) formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
insert the formatted diskettes in a drive to create the diskettes.

4. After the diskettes have been created, you may delete the  
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. Perform the following steps:

   (a) Uninstall the previous version of your Compaq IJ900 printer driver:
       Select Start/Settings/Printers.
       Highlight the IJ900 Printer icon.
       Select File/Delete.
   (b) If you have more than one Compaq inkjet printer installed:
       - Uninstall the printer drivers for all Compaq inkjet printers.
       - Choose to delete shared files when prompted.
   (c) Restart your computer when the uninstall process is complete.
   (d) Select Start/Settings/Printers.
       Double-click Add Printer, Next, Next, Have Disk.
       Insert the first created driver diskette, type in the correct drive 
       letter, and select OK to install the driver and configure the 
       IJ900 printer.
