DESCRIPTION:  Creates a set of utility files that can be used with a remote 
configuration tool such as Intel LANDesk Configuration Manager (LCM) to 
update or restore the 04/24/98 version System ROM and/or change the Language 
Module option in F10 Setup in the Deskpro EN Series models with a 686T3 Family 
ROM. 
 
The ROM Family and ROM date can be determined by running F10 Setup.

The standard ROMPaq will not work for updating a PC remotely over a network.

This ROM includes a ROM-based F10 Setup.  A Language Module option allows 
the user to select the language used in F10 Setup: Danish, Dutch, English, 
Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, or Swedish.  

NOTE:  The user sees the chosen language only in F10 Setup, not in the 
operating system.

Enhancements/Fixes:

 - Fixes a problem where the system incorrectly prompted for a power-on 
   password when a diskette was in the drive at the time of a Remote Wakeup by 
   a Magic Packet (Wake-On-LAN technology).

 - Fixes a problem where installing an Iomega Jazz drive disabled the diskette
   drive until the computer was powered off and back on.
 
 - Fixes a problem where a Windows NT shutdown would not automatically turn
   the computer off.

 - This ROM is recommended for use with Microsoft Windows 98.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" confirms the unpacking of several files. 

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. Refer to the file ASSIGNPW.TXT for instructions about the use of the 
utility programs.
