PREREQUISITES:  This SoftPaq requires that you have Compaq Insight Manager
version 3.60.  Do NOT apply the upgrade to any other versions. 

DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq unpacks files needed to upgrade a registered copy
of Compaq Insight Manager Version 3.60 to version 3.60B.

Enhancements/Fixes:
This upgrade fixes a problem where Compaq Insight Manager might reject a valid
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Enterprise Edition Select CD when attempting to update
an Integration Server. This CD was found to sometimes have a different CD volume
label than Compaq Insight Manager expected.  This upgrade provides a new CD
detection mechanism.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to the folder into which you installed Compaq Insight
Manager. In general, the folder is "C:\Program Files\Compaq\Insight Manager."
The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and folder, execute the downloaded file and follow the 
on-screen instructions to unpack the files.  The number of files to be created 
and total file size is displayed.  The files are:
    SP6844.TXT
    PATCH.EXE
    PATCH.RTP

3. Execute PATCH.EXE to upgrade the Compaq Insight Manager installation.  
The following two files are modified: 
    CIM_DWLD.DLL
    CIM_MAIN.DLL
The following file is added:
    CIM_DLCD.DLL

4. After the upgrade is complete, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1, as well as the unpacked files from step 2.
