DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains Compaq Power Management Agents
              Version 1.21 for use with Compaq UPS and Netware.

              Known Issues Addressed in this release:

                 When performing a Down / Exit on a Server running
                 CPMIP.NLM, the following ABEND may occur:

                 Abend: CPU Hog Detected by Timer

              
           

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq.  When executed,
it will  build a 1.44MB floppy diskette containing the CPQCPM Agents.

3. To install on a Netware server, type the following at the console
prompt :

LOAD A:CPMSETUP

with the floppy inserted in the A: drive of the server. Follow the
onscreen instructions to install CPQCPM.
