DESCRIPTION:			

 The IDECD.CDM driver has been updated by Novell to support IDE CD-ROM
 drives and remove the following warning message:

  "WARNING!  This driver has not been tested with the [CDROM] device.
  If you experience problems with this device, contact its manufacturer
  for an updated driver."

 This driver will be included in version 3.20 or later of NSSD from Compaq.


HOW TO USE:

1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
    to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP6424.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
    SP6424 [ENTER]
    The following files should be created:
    IDECD.CDM, READ1ST.RDM

3.  After the files are created, you may delete the downloaded file
    SP6424.EXE if you wish.

4.  Refer to READ1ST.RDM on the diskette for instructions on installing
    and using the software.
