DESCRIPTION:  Creates a diskette containing the Windows 95 video driver for the 
NeoMagic 2160 chipset used in the Presario 1600 notebook models mentioned above.
It allows users to  reinstall the video driver without running QuickRestore.  For 
Presario notebooks manufactured in early 1998, such as the Presario 1621, 1622, and 
1681, this driver is identical to the driver originally installed in the notebooks.  
It is offered in this SoftPaq as a convenience for owners of those models who need 
to restore the driver to their hard drive.

For earlier models, such as the Presario 1610, 1620, and 1680 notebooks, 
this driver is an update that offers the following Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Fixes a problem with the split-Window view in Microsoft Works.
 - Fixes a problem with video corruption in certain MS applications such as
   MS Word and Outlook.
 - Includes other minor fixes.

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. To install, run SETUPEX.EXE from the created diskette.  For example, 
with the diskette in the A: drive, select Start, Run, then enter:

       a:\setupex.exe

6. When the update is complete, remove the diskette and restart the 
computer for the change to take effect.
