PREREQUISITE:  Armada S3 Display Utility For Windows NT 4.0, Version 1.03.06,
               available in SoftPaq SP3708.

DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files needed to install the "S3 Video Drivers for
Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Using Compaq/S3 Video Drivers" for the Compaq 
Armada 7300 and 7700 Series.  Optionally creates an installation diskette. 

Enhancements/Fixes:  
- Resolves NT desktop corruption that sometimes occurs when user resumes
  from Hibernation if ScreenSaver was launched before Hibernation.
- Resolves problem with Display Data Channel (DDC) monitor detection.
- Resolves problem where the Compaq QuickBlack/QuickLock feature does not work 
  properly with Windows NT 4.0.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory 
folder in the download directory.  All files are unpacked into this 
newly created directory.

To create the 1 optional installation diskette(s), run MAKEDISK.BAT and 
follow on-screen instructions.

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, refer to the README.TXT file.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the directory 
created in step 2 if you wish.
