DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks a setup file to install a PMM (Product Management 
Module) that provides support for the Netelligent 2624 and 2824 
Managing Repeaters and the Netelligent 2524 and 2724 Manageable 
Repeaters.  It is designed to augment the functionality of the Compaq 
Networking Management Software Foundation Module, Version 2.2.2.  Refer 
to SoftPaq SP6102 for the Foundation Module and a description of the 
features of Compaq Networking Management Software. 

IMPORTANT!  For a 2624 Repeater to be compatible with a 2824 Repeater 
in the same stack, both must be running firmware version 2.0 or later.
This firmware is included within this Softpaq.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
It unpacks 2 files (requiring an additional 4.9 MB of hard drive space):
 SETUP.EXE
 README.TXT

You will be given the opportunity to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. The installed PMM requires 15 MB hard drive space.  
(The installation process may require up to 50% more disk space
than the final installation; this space is freed when the 
installation is complete).   

5. Run SETUP.EXE and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. After the installation has completed successfully, you may 
delete the SETUP.EXE file.
