DESCRIPTION: Unpacks the files needed to install the Compaq Remote
Services Driver for the above-mentioned operating systems and Compaq
computers.

The Compaq Remote Services Driver supports remote flashing of the System ROM, 
and configuration of security options.  

FIXES/ENHANCEMENTS

1. This version of the Compaq Remote Services Driver detects a ROM defect
that may exist on certain Compaq Professional Workstation AP400 computers,
and prevents these ROMs from being remotely flashed.

   
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory 
folder in the download directory.  All files are unpacked into this 
newly created directory.

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, execute the file INSTALL.BAT created in the new 
directory.

5. For further information concerning this product, refer to the
file README.TXT created in the new directory.
