- 486 or later processor
- 16 MB of RAM minimum (24 MB recommended) for Windows 95
- 32 MB of RAM minimum (48 MB recommended) for Windows NT
- One of the following operating systems:
   - Windows 95
   - Windows NT 4.0 (latest service packs recommended)

DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks a setup file to install the online documentation 
for Compaq Networking Management Software Version 2.2.1.  The 
documentation is designed to accompany the Foundation Module 
(SP6010.EXE). It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader V3.0, which is not 
included in this Softpaq.

Refer to SoftPaq SP6010 for the Foundation Module and a description of 
the features of Compaq Networking Management Software.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
It unpacks 2 files (requiring an additional 3.6 MB of hard drive space):
 SETUP.EXE
 README.TXT
 
You will be given the opportunity to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. The installed documentation requires 11 MB hard drive space.  
(The installation process may require up to 50% more disk space 
than the final installation; this space is freed when the 
installation is complete).   

5. Run SETUP.EXE and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. After the installation has completed successfully, you may 
delete the SETUP.EXE file.

Note: Acrobat Reader is required to access the Networking on-line 
documentation.

Acrobat Reader is available using the custom installation option
when installing Compaq Networking Management Software Version 2.2.1.
