DESCRIPTION:  This SoftPaq is for Japanese products, and cannot be run 
in United States mode.  It unpacks the files needed to upgrade a registered 
copy of Compaq Insight Manager from Version 3.40 to Version 3.50 (Japanese).

IMPORTANT:
- This SoftPaq requires that you have the Compaq Management CD 3.40 
  (Japanese).
  Do NOT apply the upgrade to any other releases.
- You will need about 32 MB of free space on your hard drive to perform
  this upgrade (about 9 MB for the install image of your current version
  of Compaq Insight Manager, about 11 MB for the files contained in this
  SoftPaq, and about 22 MB of work space used during the upgrade).
- It is recommended to download the newest version control databases since
  they are ignored by the patch process.  Consult the online documentation
  in the Insight Manager help system.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. For installation instructions, refer to the file README.TXT.
