DESCRIPTION:  Creates a diskette containing an updated version of the 
file MSVCRT40.DLL.  

This update fixes the following problems:

 - Launching Phone Center results in the error message:
     "ERROR STARTING PROGRAM - The MSVCRT40.DLL file is linked to missing 
      export MSVCRT.DLL:_getwc_lk"

 - As a result of the above error, the Address Book does not open.  Selecting 
   the Address Book results in an error message that CPQPHONE.MDB is already open.

 - Running the Phone Center Upgrade results in the error message:
      "Unable to initialize DAO/Jet db engine" 

HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain a formatted 1.44-MB diskette.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
insert the formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette.

4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the  
SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2.

5. To install the update, run SETUP.EXE.  For example, with the diskette 
in drive A, select Start, select Run, then enter:

    a:\setup

6. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the installation program.
