HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.
2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq. When executed
with no parameters, files are extracted into the current directory.
To extract the files into a different directory, specify the complete
path of the directory as a parameter:
SPxxxx <path>
Enter "Y" to confirm and files are unpacked into the download
directory or the directory specified.
3. After the files have been created, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.
4. The driver may be installed directly from the files on the download
directory or an optional installation diskette can be created.
To create an optional installation diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT.
To install the driver, go to the Control Panel.
Double-click the Multimedia Icon. Select the Devices Tab. Select Add.
Select Unlisted or Updated Driver. Click OK. Enter the path where the
drivers are located (from step 2) or enter A:\ if installing from the
optional installation diskette.
5. Select OK to install the driver.
6. After the driver has been installed, you may delete the files
from the download directory if you wish.
