DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq contains an update to a portion of equivalent of 
CD-ROM Part Number 185743-013.

This SoftPaq is a PMM (Product Management Module) designed to augment 
the functionality of the Compaq Netelligent Management Software 
Version 2.1 Foundation Module.  It provides configuration and monitoring 
for the Netelligent 5708 Dual Speed Ethernet Switch and 5708 FX Fast 
Ethernet Switch. In particular, it provides support for the new 5708 FX 
Fast Ethernet Switch.  This module requires that the Compaq Netelligent 
Management Software Version 2.1 Foundation Module already be installed.

HOW TO USE:

System Requirements:

? 486 or later processor
? 16 MB of RAM, 24 MB is recommended
? One of the following operating systems:
- Windows 95
- Windows NT 3.51
- Windows NT 4.0

Installation Instructions:

1. Run the downloaded SoftPaq on your local hard drive.  

To do this from Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, left mouse click on 
the "Start" button, then select "Run" from the menu (from Windows 
NT 3.5, select "File" then "Run" from the program manager).

Enter the full name of the SoftPaq file, including the directory 
and extension (e.g., "C:\TEMP\SP5320.EXE").  Left mouse click on 
the "OK" button.

2. When the SoftPaq file is executed, it creates 2 files 
(requiring an additional 4.5 MB of hard drive space) that 
are used to install the application. 

To execute, type:  SP5320 [ENTER]

Files created are:
SETUP.EXE
README.TXT

After these files are created, you may delete the downloaded file, 
if you wish.

3. Run SETUP.EXE by following the procedure outlined in step #1.  
Follow the onscreen instructions.

4. The installed PMM requires  15 MB hard drive space space (the 
installation process may require up to 50% more disk space than 
the final installation; this space is freed when installation 
is complete).  After installation has completed successfully, 
the SETUP.EXE file may be deleted.
