DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq unpacks the files required for programming the
mouse buttons on a Compaq 3- or 4-button mouse used on a Compaq Professional
Workstation when running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq.  When executed 
with no parameters, files are extracted into the current directory.
To extract the files into a different directory, specify the complete 
path of the target directory as a parameter:

     SPxxxx <path> 
     where SPxxxx = SoftPaq Number

Enter "Y" to confirm and files are unpacked into the download 
directory or the directory specified.  

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, run SETUP.EXE.  For example, click on Start, Run, and enter:

   <path>\setup.exe

   where <path> is the download directory or the drive and directory chosen 
		in step 2

5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

6. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files 
from the download directory if you wish.
