Enhancements/Fixes:

For details, refer to NTREADME.HLP in the created support files.

This release of the Compaq Support Software for Microsoft Windows NT 3.51,
Version 1.27 A, primarily supports the following updated drivers: Compaq
System Management Driver, Compaq Remote Insight Board Driver, and Compaq
   NetFlex-3 Controller.

Compaq MP HAL (HALSP.DLL)
Fixed a problem with the year 2000 if the OS is running during transition.

Compaq NetFlex-3 Controller
Updated the Compaq NetFlex-3 driver to disable autonegotiation in the
Physical Layer (PHY) when both speed and duplex are set, thus enhancing
   network connections.

Compaq Support Software Setup Utility
Updated the Setup application to display the new SSD version number.

Compaq System Management Driver
Updated the System Management driver version number from 2.55.01 to 2.57.01.

Corrected a problem with correctable memory error messages in the Windows NT
   Event Viewer.

Corrected a problem with marking entries in the Critical Error Log as
   "corrected" via Compaq Insight Manager.

Corrected a problem on Compaq Professional Workstations configured with the
Compaq System Management driver in which applications that cause a floating
point exception could cause the Workstation to hang. A ROM upgrade is
required to fully correct the problem; upgrade the system ROM to any
   version dated 12/17/97 or later.

STB Systems MVP Workstation Graphics Controller
Added support for the new STB Systems MVP Workstation Graphics Controller
video display driver for Windows NT 3.51. The Compaq Professional
Workstations that may use this driver are indicated in the help file
section entitled Video Support for Compaq Professional Workstations.

The following files will be created:
       README.TXT
       WKST.EXE

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the
self-extracting executable:
       WKST.EXE [ENTER]

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the support
