PREREQUISITES:  Compaq Netelligent Management Software Foundation Module, 
Version 2.0A or 2.0.1.  Version 2.0.1 is available in SoftPaq SP5222, which 
also lists system requirements.

DESCRIPTION:  Creates a setup file to install a PMM (Product 
Management Module) that provides support for the Netelligent 3512 
and 3612 Repeaters.  It is designed to augment the functionality of 
the Compaq Netelligent Management Software Foundation Module (see 
PREREQUISITES).  Refer to SoftPaq SP5222 for the Foundation Module 
and a description of the features of Compaq Netelligent Management 
Software.  This PMM is a portion of the software available on the 
Compaq Netelligent Management CD-ROM, Part Number 185743-012. 

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file 
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
It unpacks 2 files (requiring an additional 1.2 MB of hard drive space):
   SETUP.EXE
   README.TXT 
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for 
the files, or default to the download directory.

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. The installed PMM requires 1.3 MB hard drive space.  (The installation 
process may require up to 50% more disk space than the final installation; 
this space is freed when the installation is complete).   

5. Run SETUP.EXE and follow the on-screen instructions.

6. After the installation has completed successfully, you may 
delete the SETUP.EXE file.
