that supports the following subsystems and features of
Compaq Professional Workstations and Servers:

NetFlex-3/Compaq Netelligent 10/100 TX Embedded UTP/Coax network adapter
   NetFlex-3/Compaq Netelligent 10/100 TX Embedded UTP/Coax network
adapter monitoring, configuration, and duplex utility
Compaq 10T PCI UTP and 10/100 TX PCI UTP
Compaq Support Software diskette Installation utility

Enhancements/Fixes:

For details, refer to NTREADME.HLP in the created support files.

Compaq Advanced Network Fault Detection and Correction (NETFLX3.EXE)

Added a new icon for the non-active adapter in the Compaq Advanced Network
Fault Detection and Correction controller pair. In a controller pair, this
standby adapter is a correctly-functioning redundant adapter. If the active
adapter fails, the standby adapter becomes active.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting
executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file
and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files.
The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed.
You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for
the files, or default to the download directory.
The following files will be created:
       README.TXT
       NFLX.EXE

3. After the files have been created, you may delete the
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the
self-extracting executable:
       NFLX.EXE [ENTER]

5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the support
software files to a folder on your hard drive and run the program
SETUP.EXE to install the software.
