DESCRIPTION: Creates an Installation Diskette for Version 3.50 of the 
             CIM Desktop Agents for OS/2.  

             Contains programs that help inventory, troubleshoot, 
             and protect Compaq Deskpro models supporting Intelligent
             Manageability running under IBM OS/2. The SNMP agents 
             allow the system to be managed by SNMP compliant 
             management applications such as Compaq Insight Manager.
             Desktop Management Interface (DMI) support allows the
             computer to be managed by DMI-compliant management
             applications. The Local Alerter notifies the user of
	     events critical to the health of the desktop. 

Enhancements/Fixes: 
 - Adds Local Alerter support for OS/2 Desktops
 - Adds support for Deskpro EP, EN, and SB Series

HOW TO USE:             

1. Download the Softpaq to an empty directory on your 
   hard drive and change to that directory. The file that 
   is downloaded is SP4758.EXE.

2. From that drive and directory, execute the Softpaq file: 
  
   SP4758[ENTER]

   The following files should be created:
   
   QRST5.EXE
   276867US._01
   SP4758.TXT

3. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

4. To create a diskette, run QRST5 and follow the 
   on-screen instructions.

5. After the diskette is created, you may delete the 
   downloaded file SP4758.EXE and the other files created 
   on your hard drive if you wish.

6. Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for installation 
   instructions and additional information.
